Welcome! I’m Clare, a certified, evidence-based nutritionist, lifestyle coach and founder of The Yorkshire Nutritionist.
I specialise in supporting women to become stronger, fitter and healthier, to feel great today and live well for longer.
Through highly personalised nutrition coaching, I empower you to live your best life by helping you to regain control of your weight, improve your health, and restore your energy.
My aim is to help transform the lives of busy women who feel overwhelmed, fed-up of fad diets and who want their confidence and energy back. I show you how to include the foods you love in balance with the foods that nourish your body and mind, finding sustainable strategies that work for you.
Whether your goal is weight loss, improve your health, navigate symptoms of menopause, or find balance amongst life’s ‘juggle struggle”, I am here to give you the support, accountability, and tools you need to feel like yourself again and reclaim your zest for life.
With a special interest in women’s health, I have helped many women transform their health, weight, and quality of life with life altering results. These include remission of T2 diabetes and non alcoholic fatty liver disease. I am privileged to have supported them through major life changes from postnatal to post menopause, and those on a journey to reduce blood pressure, and improve symptoms of PCOS, lipedema, IBS and other digestive issues.
I believe that nutrition is just one piece of our puzzle, and that health, happiness and thriving in life, comes from achieving balance across all areas of our lives.
Based on the principle of ‘finding what works for you’, I take a holistic approach to include all aspects of your health. In addition to nutrition, I consider your physical, social and mental health, along with your movement, mindset and overall well being, to bring you balance and help to identify any culprits preventing you from reaching your potential, such as poor sleep or stress.
You will see that nutrition doesn’t need to be complicated and that by making small changes, you will make big gains. I will show you how to enjoy your favourite foods, to eat without the guilt or deprivation that can come with it, to empower you with confidence in your choices.
My approach is grounded in science, along with my clinical expertise, so you can be confident in the information I give you. There are no prescriptive diet plans or quick fixes, instead we work together to find strategies that work for you and your lifestyle, so you can enjoy long-term success and say goodbye to constant dieting.
Education and support underpins my programme, and through personalised nutrition coaching, I empower you with the knowledge to go it alone when we have finished working together.

I am passionate about changing this for women who are tired of coming bottom of their to-do list and designed my programme specifically to work with you, from your individual starting point. I show you how to make changes and create new habits with the time that you have, to create your version of consistency inside of your life.
As someone who is wading through hormonal changes, knee-deep in the perimenopause, I understand the struggles, challenges and changes that can come with this phase of life. This gives me a unique understanding and empathy with other women striving to achieve their very best during this time, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle in the years before, during and after.
